I started Amanda Maria in 2014 with a simple intention — to create clothing that feels as good as it looks. As a designer, I’ve always believed that true luxury isn’t about labels or fleeting trends; it’s about how something makes you feel — the drape of a fabric, the precision of a seam, the quiet confidence of a well-made piece.

Every collection begins in my studio, where I design each piece with intention and purpose. I’ve never been drawn to “aimless clothing” — the kind that’s made to fill space in your closet or follow a momentary trend. Instead, I wanted to build a brand rooted in craftsmanship and conscience — pieces that last, pieces that matter.

What began as a made-to-measure atelier has grown into a contemporary luxury brand, but the heart of Amanda Maria remains the same: thoughtful design, impeccable quality and fit, and responsibility at every stage of production. Every fabric we source, every finish we choose, and every partner we work with is part of a larger vision to create clothing that respects people, the planet and stands the test of time.

For me, design is deeply personal. It’s about creating garments that become part of your life — pieces you reach for time and again, that age beautifully, wear comfortably and tell your story. I believe that when something is made with care, you can feel it — not just when you wear it, but every time you return to it.

In a world overwhelmed by fast fashion, Amanda Maria stands as a quiet rebellion — an invitation to slow down, invest in quality, and rediscover the beauty of intentional design and craftsmanship.

This is more than a brand. It’s my life’s work — a movement toward positive change in the fashion industry.

Certifications

We prioritize working with fabrics and manufacturing partners that meet internationally recognized standards for ethical and sustainable practices.

SMETA CERTIFICATION - SMETA Audits – The factories we collaborate with undergo SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) assessments, which evaluate working conditions, responsible business practices, and overall social compliance. These audits consider labor rights, health and safety, environmental impact, and business ethics, with periodic reviews ensuring ongoing adherence.

SGS CERTIFICATION - Materials used in our collections may meet SGS-certified quality and safety benchmarks, reinforcing confidence in responsible sourcing and compliance with international standards.

BCI COTTON CERTIFICATION - Licensed BCI Farmers produce cotton while caring for the environment, minimizing the negative effects of fertilizers and pesticides, and promoting water, soil health, and natural habitats. This is what we refer to as “Better Cotton.” BCI Farmers also commit to decent work principles that support workers' safety and well-being. Certain cottons we use come from BCI Licensed farms.

GOTS CERTIFICATION - We incorporate GOTS-certified textiles where possible, ensuring compliance with rigorous organic fiber standards from raw material sourcing to responsible manufacturing.

OKEO-TEX CERTIFICATION - OEKO-TEX® Many of the fabrics we select are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they have been tested for harmful substances and meet high standards for chemical safety and environmental responsibility.
